REV. DATUK JERRY DUSING
Rev. Datuk Jerry Dusing was born in Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 1953. At the age of thirteen, he left Sabah for New Zealand. He attended St. Patrick High School, and graduated with a Science Degree in Pure an Applied Mathematics, and had a Master in Civil Engineering from Canterbury University in Christchurch, New Zealand. At the youthful age of twenty, Jerry became one of the leaders of the Asian Church Group. He began taking theological courses from the New Life Bible School, at the same time pursuing his Master in Engineering from Canterbury University. In 1979, he left New Zealand for Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It was then with the endorsement of the SIB leaders, Jerry and a few SIB leaders started SIB Likas Kota Kinabalu, English Service. With sixteen members to start with, then eventually it became as large as fourty members. By God’s grace, the church experienced tremendous growth.
In 1993, Jerry gave up his practice as a successful and respected Consultant Engineer and entered fulltime ministry as the Senior Pastor of SIB Likas, English Service. In November 2007, at the Sidang Injil Borneo (SIB), Sabah General Conference, Rev Datuk Jerry was elected as the President of SIB Sabah.
He is currently the President of Sidang Injil Borneo (SIB), Sabah.
Rev Datuk Jerry is married to Pastor Ngo Lee Lee. They met in New Zealand where Lee Lee graduated with degrees in Chemistry and Biology. They have three children, Evelyn, Elsa, and Gabriel.
